Founder, Principal Designer
Lauren brings over a decade of experience in architecture, with a background spanning residential, commercial, and healthcare projects. Through Lauren Diane Designs, she provides thoughtful, design-focused architectural services and project-based consulting, bringing together creative problem-solving, technical expertise, and a strong attention to detail.
Her experience ranges from small-scale renovations and residential projects to large-scale new construction, giving her a well-rounded understanding of both the creative and technical sides of the design process. She works across design development, Revit/BIM, construction documentation, 3D modeling, space planning, interior finishes, FF&E coordination, and presentation materials, while collaborating closely with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors.
Lauren believes that successful design begins with understanding the people and purpose behind each project. She values open communication, thoughtful details, and a collaborative process that allows each project to feel personal and purposeful.
She finds particular joy in building genuine relationships with clients, understanding their vision, and seeing their ideas evolve into spaces that enhance the way they live, work, and experience their surroundings.
Lauren’s passion for architecture began at a young age, inspired by the history, character, and intricate details of New England Colonial homes. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Roger Williams University, where she also competed as a collegiate athlete, before earning her Master’s in Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver.
Throughout her career, Lauren has gained experience at established architecture firms and expanded her design perspective through design-build courses and workshops with acclaimed architects Rick Joy and Juhani Pallasmaa. These experiences shaped her belief that thoughtful design is both highly considered and deeply connected to the people who inhabit it.
Today, Lauren Diane Designs brings together this diverse experience with a personal, collaborative approach—providing thoughtful architectural design and consulting services to private clients and design professionals alike.
